Escape4Girls was born when a former director Wendy Magill put together a ‘weekend escape’ for a group of old friends to celebrate a birthday. They wanted to make the holiday special so Wendy organised massages, a painting class and lots of fantastic food, wine and luxury accommodation."It was a weekend that felt like a week" Wendy said, "I knew other women needed to do this, life is so busy and there is little time to catch up with friends, when we do it has to be fun and hassle free."

Melissa is in her 30s. She is married and has a beautiful boy and angel baby girl. Melissa is a qualified accountant and has travelled extensively - living parts of her life in other countries. After a stint as a very successful travel consultant, Melissa wanted to find her own niche in the travel industry. Meeting with Wendy in 2006, Melissa knew this new exciting business was for her. "I love travel, it is a very big part of my life" I would have to say my travel experiences have had a big influence on who I am today. I have had a majority of my best times while travelling, and I firmly believe that everyone should do it! I started out as a budget traveller and as I have gotten older, I certainly enjoy the luxury travel. It is easy to become accustomed to great food, fine wine, luxury accommodation and loads of pampering. I certainly don't mind the odd adventure, snowboarding has recently become my passion. I like to take time out to have fun and re-energise on my travels. I thought, if I am like this, there must be a market for other woman that need this too!?
