Aloha! The friendly greeting from Hawaii. Aloha essentially means LOVE. There is no other language in the World where the people greet you with the word LOVE! What a destination. I have been coming here now for eight years and I still believe that Escapes don't get much better than waking up, looking out your window to green - blue water, rolling waves and palm fringed coastlines...well ladies, Welcome to Hawaii.
We are halfway through our Hawaiian research trip. We have traveled Maui, Kauai and now Oahu. For the next five weeks we are finding the best in Hawaii to be able to offer to you.

Inspirational Women - Carly Earl

Carly is mother to two little monkeys Oliver (4) and Penelope (2) but during her spare time in November 2006 launched 'Eco Child' - Australia's first complete organic baby store in Mooloolaba. A fairly 'grass roots' upbringing in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland instilled in Carly a clear sense that 'nature knows best' but it wasn't until her first child Oliver suffered severe eczema that the mission for natural baby products began in earnest.

What was a personal mission was soon to become a career path.Over coffee with babies one beautiful spring morning in Coolum, two friends - Carly and Escape 4 Girls' own Melissa Moyle pondered whether the Sunshine Coast just might be ready for a baby store with a real difference. The answer was a resounding YES! Just 6 short weeks later Eco Child was born and received with much excitement from Coast mums, dads and grandparents. The store quickly gained its reputation as a 'must visit' for new and expecting parents - even being featured on the local Channel 7 evening news!

Eco Child at Mooloolaba quickly expanded to include a full online
purchasing website www.ecochild.com.au and 12 months after its conception expanded to open a second retail store in Brisbane. Carly maintains that keeping the balance between family home life and career is the only way to be happy and accredits Eco Child's success to opening a business she believes in with her whole heart!
