Kerri Dixon October 2007 -
Thanks for organising our weekend, we all
had a great time and everything went like clockwork.
We arrived at various times on friday and spent
the evening in the room eating the platter and sipping
wine. There was enough food in the platter to last
us all weekend.
Saturday we walked up the road and had breakfast
at the cafes, then the limo was right on time at
9.30am.
We had a great morning of shopping around noosa
and then a beautiful lunch at the spirit house,
we made the limo driver only take us around noosa
as we would not have had enough shopping time to
of gone down to mooloolaba as well.
The spirit house was great, they were extremely
busy and because we only had 1hr to order and eat
lunch they rushed us through in front of everyone
else who had been waiting. We were extremely greatful
for this.
Then we headed back to the room, which by the way
was absolutely beautiful, my best friend and myself
bagged the king size room on the top floor before
anyone else arrived. He he he.
The girls from the spa arrived around 3pm and we
all had an amazing afternoon. I don't know if they
would want to work at Andari again though as they
had to drag there beds and luggage up about 100
stairs (well thats what it felt like) to get to
our townhouse. But the views were worth the stairs.
Although no one felt like it after the facials and
massages, we all dragged ourselves out to a nightclub
in noosa that night and again had a ball.
Sunday was then spent at the cafe again for breaky
and then we headed home with a stop at Little Morgue
Winery and then down to Mooloolaba for some more
shopping. I think we all finally arrived home about
3.30 that afternoon.
I am still trying to recover from the lack of sleep,
but all in all it was a brilliant weekend. We are
already talking about what escape4girls package
we are going to do next year.

It was fantastic!!!? We felt truly pampered
and privileged.? First of all the apartment... what
luxury! (We reckon we had the best unit of the lot)!
Indulge4girls on the Friday were great - (didn't
know how tight my shoulders had become!) Saturday
we went for brekky at the Novotel, then to a local
psychic and spent the rest of the day at the pool
(we missed Eumundi markets - bugger - still kicking
ourselves). Sat night - went out for dinner on Mooloolaba
esplanade. Sunday was another pool day and at night
we had Owen over with his culinary delights. That
was the highlight, definitely!? We were all very
impressed that he brought his own linen, glasses,
cutlery, plates and the food was amazing!
As I've said before your business is a fabulous
idea.?? We wouldn't have thought to put it all together
on our own.
Again,
thank you! I feel that I'm a more whole mother/lover/wife
and friend after our escape!
Speak soon,
Tara

Well I don’t know where to start about
the trip, so I will start from the beginning.
Alan
Foster has built a tremendous tour. Very courteous,
and a wonderful man to get along with. Any changes
or suggestions he was willing to include. Alan was
very informative with a great sense of humour. I just
cannot recommend him high enough.
Each
winery we visited had something different to offer,
which in turn made them all unique. All wineries were
professional, well presented and a lot of fun. All
of the wineries and shops we visited were willing
to give us a donation to help our cause. This was
great. We should make at least another $500 from the
donations.
We
even met a celebrity in the wine industry. ”Miss
Merlot from the Symphony hill winery”. A lovely
Border collie dog, who features in the book. Winery
Dogs. What a little sweetie she was.
We
all loved the Olive, Fudge, and Cheese farms. So much
so I nearly bought a calf from the cheese farm. Just
getting it on the bus was going to be the issue. Some
of us even bought some olive trees, and yes, they
were allowed on the bus.
Dinner
was superb at Anna’s Restaurant. If you haven’t
been there, Melissa you must go, just to see for yourself.
The
accommodation was comfortable and refreshingly quiet.
The owner had the heaters on in our rooms for us,
so when we arrived our rooms were toasty warm. That
was a lovely touch and very lovely as it had started
to get cold by then.
Alan
rounded the weekend off at Vincenzo’s Deli.
Which we could purchase not only wines, but fruit,
pastas, all meats, and just in case you didn’t
have enough some more wine.
This
was a great trip, My recommendation is that “I
will be doing this trip again”. |
